Our vision
Given today’s challenges, it is clear we’re not learning as fast as we should. Next to that, the way we implement innovation is too costly, risky and it’s simply taking too much time. Our mission is to explore and scale new ways of community-based learning and mentoring, driven by inspiring cases defined by domain experts. We know from experience that this can really accelerate the way people learn and find their way to next studies, projects or jobs, and into the future, while building a cool ‘Tech’-network along the way.
These education programs are for free, but not for nothing! We will use the best ‘Educational Tech’ out there, to deliver some serious Tech skills and insights to our students, so they are ready to take on the biggest challenges out there, with confidence and focus.

Data & AI in Healthcare
Education
In healthcare, learning is accelerated via the “See One, Train One, Do One” method. In this manner, newbies can dive into practice fast and show what they are made of, but always with the assurance that experienced teachers and mentor are there to monitor and support. Wouldn’t it be great of everything we learn regarding Tech could be accelerated in the same manner? And that this exciting method would stimulate everybody to keep on learning…and shift to teaching and mentoring themselves, whenever sufficient skills and experience have been acquired, with confidence and satisfaction for the job at hand?
Research
For all the impressive things that can be done with Tech, scientific discovery is probably the one with most impact. This is because Tech can basically make everyone with a laptop and internet an amateur scientist, with infinite knowledge, data, modelling tools and compute at their fingertips. The only thing required is some fresh ideas on things we care about and a drive to build and validate them, via collaboration with experts or other bright minds. TechPros aims to support such bright minds and this method, so we can scale and connect our research capability, globally
Impact
Successful innovations take marathon-like stamina. Next to that, break-through innovation requires some guts, because it implies taking a series of calculated risks. Furthermore, these two factors typically create the optimal conditions for impact, because it will force participants to define an appealing goal to keep everybody going, but also with a contingency approach, to think ahead, in order to deal with (almost) anything that could be thrown at the team. Such a champion system is used to win in sports, so why not use it when dealing with the biggest challenges on our world?

The challenges for our world and way of living require breakthroughs, to move towards systemic change, faster than we do now. We see a need for ‘real’ breakthroughs in the following areas:

Learning Method
We think learning show be about thinking and doing, via effective team dynamics, more than about anything else. The aim to embrace the ‘Lean Start-up’-methodology and learn from the amazing methodology of ‘Scientific Discovery’ , which brought us AlphaGo and AlphaFold, in pragmatic way.
We feel that intelligence and impact are the result of social processes, so we are convinced that boosting such processes will lead results quicklier, also because the journey is way more fun.
With our community, we will interact with the people at the top of the game, from either science or business. This will allow us to define cool ‘use cases’, that should have an appeal like nothing else, for those familiar with the area, but also for those just familiar with Tech, but with an interest to do ‘something that matters’. With these use cases, we will define tailored learning modules, which students will work on together, supported by one or more knowledgeable mentors, given the various domains. At the end, each learning journey will end with a real presentation to stakeholders involved and people interested in the use case. This will assure high-quality feedback!
